The Top Ten Reasons I Love Homeschooling

I had to shoot a quick roll of film to test my new camera, and it ended up being a little round up of life during our school day which made me think of all the things I’m enjoying about homeschooling this year. I’m not sure what the next year holds, but I’m thankful for this time we’ve had learning together.

1. Watching my kids love learning, and the awesome questions they ask.

2. Spending inordinate amounts of time with our dog aka our mascot, Marty.

3. School outside in the sunshine.

4. A much slower pace to our mornings.

5. Grace for the hard days.

6. The incredible literature-based curriculum.

7. PE whenever we want.

8. Discussing hard topics as we read aloud together.

9. Our cute school room and ALL. THOSE. BOOKS.

10. Being pruned in a new way.
